Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Exterior Project Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting with customers onsite, and closing sales for exterior home improvement products or services such as roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and doors. Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and follow up on leads through cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and marketing-generated inquiries and networking events.
- Conduct in-person consultations at customers’ homes or properties to assess needs and present customized solutions.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals, estimates, and contracts.
- Educate customers on product options, benefits, and pricing.
- Close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams including project managers, estimators, and customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software.
- Attend training sessions, meetings, and industry trade shows as needed.
- Follow up with customers post-sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
- Locate and attend 2-3 networking groups and attend regularly. Must attend the meetings regularly.
- Locate and network with 2-3 Realtors and Insurance agents, developing a relationship to cultivate referral relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience; experience in construction, and/or home improvement is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
- Basic understanding of exterior home systems and measurements preferred.
- Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs for inspections.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel locally and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
